What does Preity lie about?

Preity Zinta got philosophical and confessional on Twitter today (September 20) when she got talking to her followers about lying.

Preity posed on her Twitter page, "So my question today is how much do we lie to people to be popular? Or for that reason to ourselves? What do we lie about?"

And then Preity revealed, "When do I lie? White lies! Definitely :-) stuck in traffic, just about 2 call u etc. Beyond that i wud avoid d question so I don't have 2 lie!"

She added, "No one is perfect and we are all so judgemental that we all lie at some point or the other! I don't lie to myself though & never to Ma! :-) MA is my only parent left ! She is my mirror ! I tell her EVERYTHING cuz I know she will never judge me and I can get things off my chest!"

Preity Zinta hopes her Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kings XI Punjab, which was axed recently, would overcome adversity.

"Thanks for all your support for Kings XI Punjab! If you know you are right and done nothing wrong then god and the forces of the universe have to support you! We shall overcome!" Preity posted on her Twitter page.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) axed the team for violating franchisee conditions, especially on ownership.

Preity co-owned the team with her former boyfriend Ness Wadia and two other businessmen.

Bollwood actors, Shahrukh Khan and Kajol are the first from the Hindi film industry who were honored to ring the bell at NASDAQ. Now, the chance has come to Preity Zinta. Preity Zinta has confirmed the news on her Twitter. The actress says that she was excited about the invitation.
The actress was in New York to attend the India Day Parade for 63rd Independence Day celebrations.

She's the third B'wood star invited to ring the NASDAQ opening bell

Preity Zinta has become the third B'wood star to be invited by NASDAQ, the world's biggest stock exchange, to ring their opening bell in New York. Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol were the first Indian actors to have the honour, usually reserved for CEOs of major companies. SRK and Kajol rang the bell when they were in the city early this year promoting 'My Name Is Khan'.

Preity confirmed the news by posting on her Twitter page, "Yeah ! Am invited 4 d opening bell ceremony at NASDAQ tue morning (August 17)! Hope i can list 1of my companies there sumday :-) Ting ! Now i'm excited!"

Preity has been in the city for some days now, she spent Independence Day on August 15 participating in a special parade.

As billions of Indians world over celebrated India's 63rd Independence Day yesterday (15th August), our B-town stars were also not far behind.

The annual Independence Day parade held in New York saw actresses Preity Zinta and Sridevi representing their nation. Amidst thousands of screaming fans, Preity, looking pretty in a pink salwar kameez, performed her Grand Marshal duties. The actress with the million dollar smile flashed her pearly whites as she held the tri-colour aloft. Preity even tweeted, "Felt so proud 2 be Indian at d independence day parade in NYC ! It was d biggest parade ever & d people were awesome!"

Besides Preity, actress Sridevi was also spotted at the gala parade. The actress, who still has a huge fan following, waved to the cheering crowd amidst loud cheers.

Surely, this was one gala Independence Day celebration in the Big Apple.
